World Water Day: Join the Amsterdam International Water Week Wastewatercontest
Wastewater is this years’ theme of World Water Day on the 22nd of March. As the UN states: "Globally, the vast majority of all the wastewater from our homes, cities, industry and agriculture flows back to nature without being treated or reused – polluting the environment, and losing valuable nutrients and other recoverable materials. Instead of wasting wastewater, we need to reduce and reuse it. In our homes, we can reuse greywater on our gardens and plots. In our cities, we can treat and reuse wastewater for green spaces. In industry and agriculture, we can treat and recycle discharge for things like cooling systems and irrigation."
Send us your wastewater solution and win a full conference ticket
The Amsterdam International Water Week calls for real life water cases and solutions. Cities, industries and other organisations are invited to submit their water challenges, while experts, suppliers, innovators and scientists are asked to submit their best solutions. Read the full call for cases and solutions here.
Are you an expert or a scientist with a brilliant new approach? Or the creator of a game-changing technology? A utility with a best practice that is the answer for all utilities worldwide? Or do you have ideas on how to close the business case for wastewater reuse? Send us your best solution on wastewater and win a full two day ticket to the Amsterdam International Water Week conference! Your solution will also be published on the Amsterdam International Water Week media channels, reaching a wide audience of international water professionals. Earlier submissions on wastewater are also included in the contest.
